Happy Birthday Josh!!

So, these aren't the best pictures in the world but they are Josh! I love my brother a whole lot and have many fond memories of us together growing up. We used to play gladiators in the basement, watch the same stupid movies over and over, fight over who got to sit up front ( watching him slide under the van the one time he ran through the snow to beat me) HAHA!! that was soooo funny...... the time he says I kicked him off the roof and about a billion other memories. I think kids who come from families with lots of brothers and sisters tend to take them for granted more than those of us who only grew up with one. We did everything together and loved it. We were never bored and I think we grew alot closer when we were in Kansas and then again when I got married and moved out. When they left on deputation it was really hard not having him around. He can always make me laugh. Anyways, today on your special day, I just wanted you to know how much I love you. Can't imagine life without you. Happy Birthday!

Birthday!!

So, I woke up this morning to a dozen roses sitting on my counter with the sweetest card. I couldn't get a good enough picture of the card but here is what it said....My Wife, My Love, It's still a wonder to me that in all the world, I found teh single most beautiful friend, lover, and woman to be my wife. The First of Many!

A Day At The Park!!!

So, on Monday Phil took us all out for a day of fun.....or a couple hours of fun anyways. We went to Great Alaska Pizza Company and picked up some pizzas, then got some soda and headed to the park. We had a little picnic there and then the boys and Phil played. They had a lot of fun and it was nice to get out of the house. It's been a while since we did anything like that. It was a beautiful day for it too. Anyways, here's some pictures....hope you enjoy them!

Phil's Home!!

I'm so glad that Phil got home on Friday night! I was so very excited. The boys were ecstatic too. No sheep though. That's alright.....maybe next year. Anyways, he has three days off and I am looking forward to it. We are going to try to get some things done outside before the cold weather gets here. Kind of hard to do when we're so busy. I am going to pull my flowers since they got destroyed by the rain and it will probably frost soon anyways. Well, have a great day everyone.

Sheep Hunting!

So.....Phil has been gone since early early Monday morning sheep hunting with Caleb and Josh. I thought ( that was my first mistake) that I've done this before...no big deal...staying home with all the kids for a week. WRONG!!! Things have been crazy. Not a really bad crazy just a.....I can't believe I have four little boys kind of crazy. I don't know if you fully understand until you try to keep up with Jesse. That boy has more energy than the energizer bunny. Seriously! Just when things seem to be under control something happens. Like the night before Phil leaves Jesse learns how to climb out of his crib AND open the bedroom door. Thankfully I could lower the crib one more notch. He's almost mastered getting out of it though. We should put him in gymnastics! He could be in the Olympics with as flexible as he is.....and smart! Anyways, things are getting better as the week goes on. Not as crazy and he isn't asking CONSTANTLY.....where his Da is every time a car passes. Well, just a little peek at life here at home!

SLEEP!!!

So, I actually got a little more sleep than I usually get. With a newborn it seems as though sleep is only a figment of my imagination....sometimes it is! Anyways, I feel extremely calm and somewhat able to cope with four little boys. You wouldn't think adding one little more bundle of joy would make things that much harder......boy was I wrong! I have been asking myself quite a few times lately how much the LORD thinks I can handle. Apparently He feels as though I can handle more than I actually can. Or maybe He wants me to rely more on Him for the strength to handle my insane life instead of relying on myself. He's pretty smart! I am sure that was His intention. Well, i'm glad that He knows the reasons and will help me through this somewhat difficult and crazy time. Well, I don't know what has come over me to post this but oh well!

Duh!!!

Well, thank you all for your help with the pictures.....it was very useful information. I hope that you are all doing well and have a great weekend. You would think this blogging thing would be easy.......well, for most people it probably is. For this blonde it is not. I am watching Pride and Prejudice tonight since Phil is working and the boys are sleeping. I may even stay up until he gets home at one in the morning. At least I will get to sleep in a little tomorrow. Reuben usually keeps me up until around midnight anyways.....so what's one more hour? HA!!! Anyways, he is screaming right now so I had better be going. I will post some pictures tomorrow hopefully. Good night!

Ok....so I have been looking at everyone else's blogs and they can get about a million pictures on there. I can only get like five. How do you do it??? Oh...and how do you get words underneath the pictures??? I still can't do that. My pictures don't come up on my posting page...they just come up as a bunch of computer jargon that I don't know. Please someone help me!!!!

Can you tell I can't find a blog background I REALLY REALLY like? I like this one a lot but we will see if I keep it. I am experimenting until I find the one I am in LOVE with. All the ones I really like don't show up the way I want them to. Anyways, pretty lame post, huh? At least you never know what you're going to see when you open up my blog page!!!! Have a great day!

Baby Shower!

I went to a baby shower last night thrown by Angela and Heidi. No one told me it was a Mommy shower. I was very surprised and very humbled that the women of our church are so sweet. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who came and those who couldn't. I really appreciate it. It was very sweet of all of you. I am sure someone will post pictures. I didn't get any taken with my camera. Not unusual. Thanks again.
