FRIDAYS ARE GREAT!!!

For some reason even when I was little I have always loved Fridays. Now as an adult I love them for different reasons. Here are some of them....

1. It is the newly set aside day to spend with Ang and McKinley and even sometimes Josh!!!!
2. We only have one more day of Phil working and the boys doing school.
3. It is our movie night which is always a favorite around here.
4. I get to workout with Ang!!! One of my favorite things to do!
5. We only have one more day of baths until Monday!!! That seems silly but with four boys you enjoy a day off!!
6. No chores on Friday compared to the rest of the week!!!

Anyways, I know it seems silly but I love Fridays. Angela and McKinley are going to come over later and Ang and I are going to workout. We are going to get our showers done and eat dinner and then they are going to come with us to Revival services. We are then going to come home and put the boys to bed and watch a movie. I may even splurge and rent a couple!!! I just thought I would share my enthusiasm for Fridays!! Love you all!!!

Well...........

We are doing much better. The boys are still recovering but I feel a whole lot better. We are enjoying the week of Revival services at Badger Road. It has been a blessing to go all week. Phil went back to work yesterday and he isn't able to come so I am just attending with the boys. We are working on getting back into the swing of things and we are going to change schedules next week. Since Phil leaves at 6:00 for work I can put the kids to bed earlier and get to bed earlier myself. I am sure everyone will be happier on that schedule. Anyways, I just thought I would update everyone. I hope all of you guys are doing better. I know this sickness is going around a lot. Stay Well!!!!

Sickness...

we've had it for a while now. The kids are getting a little bit better but we'll see. I feel a little better today but not a whole lot. The little Sabre kid is still worse than the rest of them but Davy is in second as far as bad goes. He lost his voice for the most part which is bad but also good since he can't get as loud as normal. Jonny is doing just fine and Jesse is just now coming down with it. YAY!!! sarcastically she says. Anyways, Phil seems to be holding his own and we are going to have some down time soon. Mom and Dad were here this week and Mom got sick too. She sounds terrible. We had a really nice visit since there was no Revival and we didn't have anything particular to do. I was sooooo glad they still came. I really needed it this week particularly. Well, I hope you are all doing good and just wanted you to know we are still alive. We probably won't be seeing you as often so I will have to do better about keeping in touch. Love you all!!!

Book Club Meeting!!

So....the book club meeting went really good. Kim and Kassandra where the only two that could make it but we had fun anyways. We decided on Persuasion by Jane Austen for our next book. I am really excited about it. I am going to pick it up on Monday and I am hoping that Barnes and Noble has it in their classic book section. They are cheaper there and they are really nice books. We had some drinks and some fudge bars that I had made and I sent some home for Dad and Ty and some for Mikey too. Phil got the rest in his lunch and I am trying to get the kids to eat the rest otherwise.....I will eat them all. I have no self control when it comes to chocolate. Well, I hope you guys are happy about the book. Let me know if you have any ideas for the next one. Happy reading!!!

Spring....Spring....Oh.....Spring!!!

Spring is in the air....lah lah lah lah!! I LOVE Spring and even more so Summer!!!!! I was so excited today to see that it was forty degrees and melting a little. The deck that we just shoveled yesterday is almost dry already.....YAY!!! I got my laundry done and folded and putaway. I got dinner made and already have plans for in the morning. I am working on small projects as far as cleaning goes. Phil got a whole bunch done yesterday. He helped me put up the bunk bed downstairs so that Dad can sleep on it. He got the shower caulked and the toilet siliconed. It needed to be done for about three years. He got the house free of webs and dust. He helped me move the cradle to the shed and put the crib in Jonny's new room. We moved Sabre and Jonny in one room and Jesse and Davy are in the other. It is working out quite well. Jonny will be on the couch for a week and Sabre will be upstairs with us but that will be great. We shoveled the deck and worked out together. We also got the bathrooms cleaned and vacuuming done.....OH,,,,and Phil made dinner which was delicious. He is the sweetest Hubby EVER!!!! See you all at church tonight. Love you!!!!

Getting it together!!!

Well, I haven't been getting everything done that i've needed to and now with Spring.....well,,,,,I have lots of OTHER things I would like to get done and cleaned. I have accomplished a lot the last couple of weeks and now I am getting a schedule done to help me better accomplish my weekly chores. Phil helped me get quite a bit done today and it was a blessing. I still have a few things I would like him to help me with and he seems more than happy. Anyways, it has been a blessing having him home and I am not ready for him to get back to work but I know it will be fine. Have a great day and happy spring cleaning!!!

Four Days with Phil....

Phil got home o.k. last night and we talked for awhile and then crashed. We were both tired. I don't sleep good at all when he's gone and he has had a long week. We now have four days together before he has to go back to work. We went to the Tozier's yesterday and the kids played all day while Dawn and I talked. It was a lot of fun and she helped me out a lot with some homeschooling stuff. We got home around six and had some dinner and the kids played the Wii for awhile. I got some stuff cleaned up before Phil got home. We are just hanging out today and I think Phil is going to grill some steaks for dinner tonight and Allen and Tasha may come over but we'll see. They haven't called back yet. Anyways, I just thought you would like to know Phil was home and he has two certificates for The Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation. The other one was his Advanced Course Certificate for the same technique. Have a great weekend!!
