Before and After

So, here are some pictures of the new house. Just a few of the new things we've gotten. I will take more pictures as we get things put together. It isn't all that fancy right now and I probably won't hang anything on the walls. We will have to patch all the holes and stuff if we do that. I don't want to have to deal with that. So, I am going to decorate on tables and such with candles. Maybe the more places we live the more decorating I will do but I'm just not sure yet! Enjoy!

Remindes me of the homes I grew up in. Always home! Home is where you live with the ones you love most!

I love that it is a blank canvas ready for your decorating touch! :)

If you do want to put something on the walls, you could always use the Command Strips (usually can get a coupon from their website) and they don't leave any trace. I used then when I had an apartment in college so I didn't have to worry about the patching either.

Another great item to hang lighter weight things is the "T" pins in the sewing section of a store. They leave a very small hole, just put them in at a downwards angle and you've got plenty of support w/o a huge hole that would require you to patch it up!

Can't wait to see more pictures as you all get settled!

Hang things up! (I cannot emphasize this strongly enough) Make this place your home, because it IS. This is where the Lord has placed you. Nail holes are easy and yes, you can hang all manner of things on strong straight pins. :o) Praying for you as you settle in. (and I'm coveting your washer/dryer a bit!)
