Book List!!

So, I started reading a bunch of new books and I ordered some to read as well. The one I am reading right now is called Passionate Housewives Desperate For God. It is really good and definitely opens your eyes to what being a housewife is all about and how to serve the Lord in that capacity. It has changed my perspective on being a servant and also what it means to have quiet time with the Lord and how to do it with many small children. If you get a chance you should read it. It is really good.

I am also reading A Mom After God's Own Heart. I just ordered A Marriage After God's Own Heart, Simply Romantic: Dates on a Dime, a different marriage book I won't name and The Hair-Raising Joys of Raising Boys! I am so excited about getting them and I can't wait til' they come in the mail. I got them for a really good deal on CBD and a sale they were having. Most of them were under five dollars. So, I just thought I would let you guys see what I've been up to!!

Freezer Cooking!!

So, I am seriously considering starting to do Once a Month Cooking. I wanted to start in January but didn't get a chance. I think that it will help us save a lot of money by just buying in bulk and I may even get to go more organic this way like I've been wanting too. I am trying to find some different recipes where I can at least get the main dish cooked and frozen and only having to worry about a few different side dishes. I think I will make a bunch of waffles and pancakes and muffins too!! I would love to have some stuff frozen to just pull out whenever we wanted it. I spent a majority of my day baking and cooking today and it's exhausting so I think this will work out better. Anyways, If you guys want some more info on it you can go to moneysavingmom.com She has some really cool things to say about it and does the once a month cooking at the first of every month. Good luck!!!

Jonny's getting Baptized....

Jonny was saved about a year and a half ago and has been trying to understand what baptism is all about. We would talk to him about it every now and then but he just didn't quite get it. Well, we had our revival recently and he was really talking about getting baptized and has quite a good grasp on it at this point. He talked to the church and they voted to accept him as a member in full fellowship after baptism. He is getting baptized tomorrow night at church and then we will be having the Lord's Supper. He is really excited and I will be taking pictures and posting them. I just thought you all would like to know. We are absolutely thrilled and are so excited that he understands it for himself. So, probably Thursday there will be pictures on here. Don't forget to check it out!!

Update on Our Life

As you can see....I haven't been on here in awhile to post ANYTHING!!! We had Revival Services this past week.....Bro. Tyler Michael was preaching. He is from Arkansas. He and his wife , Sara, where here. His messages were really good and just what we all needed to hear. I was able to go every night but Friday when the boys got sick. We stayed home Sunday from church....me in the morning and Phil in the evening. The two littlest ones are running fevers , have coughs, and have the croup. I haven't got much sleep the past couple of nights but oh well. What am I gonna do about it? My Mom is flying in this evening for a few hours and then flying Kim Bailey to Seattle....hopefully they can figure out what is wrong with her. So, we get to spend a little time with her this evening. Phil had court this morning but should be home in a little while and the boys and I are trying to get our work done. I have to get samples ready for I.D.E.A. and send them in. I also have to get my Reimbursements done and some other things. My parents are coming up on April 12th. to spend some time with us and my Dad is gonna preach at Plack Road while Bro. Humphrey and Suzie go down and see Jason and Joanna. We are excited about seeing them. Anyways, that is what's going on around here. I would write more but I really have to get back to the boys. I will talk to you all again soon....I promise!!

Busy Mom's Bible Review

I just got a free Busy Mom's Bible in the mail from Zondervan and I have been really looking forward to it. Little did I know it was a New International Version and I am a KJV only girl. I was really disappointed. It is really cute and little and it was going to be perfect for me. It has some really neat things in it that were added and I guess I will still look into it some but I was SERIOUSLY bummed it wasn't KJV. I hate when that happens. I wish they made the Busy Mom's Bible into KJV. So I hope they read this review and do it!!! That would be cool and I sure hope they send me one when they get around to doing it. So, there it is....my review!
