Hotel Transylvania Blueray and DVD

So, we had a Hotel Transylvania Movie viewing today. We got to watch the movie with some friends and enjoy some goodies too. We really enjoyed hanging out and it was a good distraction for my friend whose hubby just headed back to Afghanistan today. I know when Phil heads home after his R&R that I will be going to her house for the day! We had some cheese, meat, chips, dip, popcorn, and cupcakes. We also had a tater tot casserole for dinner. The company was the best part and getting to watch the movie before buying it was great too. I love getting to preview it before buying it! I posted some pictures on facebook!

Goody QuickStyle Hairbrush

So, I wasn't sure if I was going to like the Good QuickStyle Hairbrush at first. It has taken me a few different times of using it to decide I really like it. It is different but in a good way. It makes my hair slightly curled and dries it faster. I'm not sure if it does it super fast but better than usual without adding time after for me to actually curl it. I would give this brush a rating of 4 on a scale from 1-5 with 5 being the best! I got it free from Influester in my Holiday VoxBox (LOVING Influester by the way)! So, there is my little blurb about it!
NOT the best picture, that's what I get for having Jonny take it for me!

Welcome Home Dress for Phil....

So, I am facing a dilemma here girls. I want to really WOW Phil when he gets home from deployment in August but I'm not sure which dress to buy. I'm going to post them on here and I want honest opinions about which one I should get! So it's kind of like a vote! I already know which one is my FAVORITE but I want you to think about it from Phil's viewpoint. Take into consideration my shape too ladies! Here they are......

Loooonnngg time no see.......

So, I've been gone FOREVER! I decided to start blogging again. It will mostly be about my BzzAgent, Influester, or CrowdTap opportunities. Today I am blogging about my new Kellog's Crunchy Nut Cereal! It's great! This cereal is seriously good. It keeps me full until lunch and I don't even crave anything sweet in between meals since it's sweet enough to satisfy. My box is almost empty since I started letting the boys eat some. They are really liking it too. If you like a peanut buttery taste then you will like this cereal! It is crunchy but it doesn't annihilate the roof of your mouth when you eat it like some cereals do! So, my rating a 10! Try it and tell me what you think!!!

Glade Expressions

So, since I started doing BzzAgent again I have been getting all kinds of cool stuff in the mail. Well, we did this Glade Expressions Campaign and I have to say I was really impressed. The Glade Expressions scents are really nice and I like how strong the spray is. I didn't enjoy the strong-ness of the Oil Diffuser but then I moved it to a bigger room and it was way better! The scents I picked were really nice. My favorite scent was the Cotton & Italian Mandarin. I also have the Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice and Lavender & Juniper Berry. I like the Lavender but it needs to be a big room. I am going to refill it with the Fuji Apple so I'm excited about that for the Holiday seasons. Overall I am loving the whole line of products. The coupons were really good ones too. I would definitely recommend this line of products and also becoming a BzzAgent!

It's been awhile........

Life has been quite the journey these past few months. Phil made it to Afghanistan, my parents came for a visit, we started school, and just learning to adjust to life without Daddy. It truly has been an amazing experience already. I am learning a lot! One of the biggest things I have learned is that I MUST rely on the LORD for all things. I don't think we realize how much we rely on our husbands and not on the LORD. The LORD gave us a man to help and take care of but so often we love them MORE than we love the LORD. At least, that is what the story is in my life. I know I still have a long way to go though. Trusting the LORD and having faith is easy when life is going good. Not that my life is going bad, but you definitely have to trust more when your husband is in a war zone than when he's at home with you. The biggest thing I have learned is patience. I can't will tomorrow here any faster and honestly I don't want to. I have goals I would like to accomplish while Phil is gone. I want to enjoy my sons while I still have them. I want to serve the LORD here as best as I can. I want to show my boys what being a godly person is really about. Being patient with the boys is one of the biggest things and hardest sometimes. It is easy to lose your cool when their is someone else to step in and take over but when you are by yourself with them ALL the time you have to learn to be more even tempered. NOT something I'm good at! Another thing I have learned is to appreciate the here and now. Life is so full of surprises! Life really is a vapor that is here for just a moment and then vanishes away. I certainly am learning to appreciate all the little things. You take for granted the things you have while they're here. I know that I sure do appreciate Phil A LOT more than I did when he was home. I have a feeling things will be different when he gets back! We are doing well here though. Staying busy! I am making quilts for everybody in the house so I am working on Reuben's right now. They are going to be cute if I can actually do a half way decent job sewing them!We will see. I am also on my weightloss/eating healthy journey. I am trying to lose those last 10 pounds and get fit. It sure is getting hard too! I run at least five days a week but I am trying to add some weight lifting back in too! Anyways, I just thought I would write a little blurb about us here! I really am going to try to start blogging more but facebook is so much easier and faster!

Gearing Up!!!!

Well, we are getting ready for the big day! There are lots of ceremonies, breakfasts, and just relaxing family time! We are trying to enjoy every second we get with the big daddy. We are definitely enjoying him too. Life will definitely be different and thankfully the LORD has helped me to get over my major emotional breakdown I was having weeks ago. The funny thing is now it doesn't seem all that bad. It will be different but we're looking forward to what the LORD does this next year. In our life here at home and Phil's in Afghanistan. He has been extremely sweet. He has a list of things we are trying to accomplish before he takes off. He is having pictures printed of him with each individual boy and putting them in their own frames for them. They will love it. He is also taking each one on a special walk and talking to them about the deployment. We are so thankful and blessed that we got to spend so much time with him! So, for now that's it but I promise after he leaves things will settle down and I will keep you updated more! Hugs from Washington!!!
